The itinerary takes passengers to London, St. Nazaire and the Breton region of France, Vilagarcia and the Cantabrian coast of Spain and Funchal on the island of Madeira.
Enroute, participants in the Wellness program have a rejuvenating Thalasso therapy treatment, a revitalizing facial with Clarins care line, Ayurveda foot massage and a relaxing back massage with soothing oils, Oriental cleansing Rasul bath and fitness and make-up workshops. The package includes bike and canal tour, hiking excursions and daily fresh fruit basket and wellness water in the cabin. The 14-night Western Europe Wellness cruise starts at $5,561, per person twin, including air fare from New York and 15 other U.S. cities. Non-Wellness cruise companions can deduct $700 from the cruise price.
Wellness packages on the other ocean cruises also include full body massage with ethereal oils, Cleopatra milk bath with rose petals, manicure and pedicure among the choices. Space is available on all three Deutschland sailings, which offer free air from New York and 15 other U.S. gateways. Deilmann also has low air supplements from 32 cities in the Midwest and West.
The 513-passenger Deutschland has 286 cabins, including 17 singles. The five-star ship, built in 1998 in art nouveau and art deco styles to recall the grand days of ocean travel, is refurbished annually while its gleaming wood finishes and etched glass decorations are polished discreetly on every voyage. The five-star liner has three restaurants offering gourmet cuisine, a resplendent ballroom for dancing and shows, comfortable bars and lounges, indoor and outdoor pools, fitness center, massage and sauna facilities, sundecks, cushioned teakwood lounge chairs for relaxing and reading in the sun and shade, elegant theater for film screenings and lectures, shopping boutiques, beauty salon and infirmary.
