Aeroskobing,
Denmark
A true gem of Scandinavian heritage, this 13th century
market town, called "Lilliputian souvenir of the
past" has small gingerbread houses, intricately
carved doors and cast iron lamps along cobblestone streets.
Be sure to visit the puppet and ship-in-a-bottle museums.
Alesund,
Norway*
This Art Nouveau town is comprised of three tiny islands,
Norvoy, Aspoy and Hessa. Bridges connect the islands
to each other and the mainland. Visit the friendly harbor
district with its fresh seafood market.
Bergen,
Norway*
Known as "Gateway to the Fjords", Bergen is
Norway's second largest city. The heart of this charming
seaport is its venerable and still bustling harbor district,
where attractions include Bryggen -- wooden buildings
that served as Hanseatic League headquarters during
the middle Ages and are now on UNESCO's list of world
historic sites.
Copenhagen,
Denmark
This wonderful capital city is often referred to as
the Paris of the north, because of its long-standing
commitment to culture and the arts and hums with activity
year-round. Timbered houses and 12th-century castles
evoke Copenhagen's past.
Falkenberg,
Sweden
Explore the historic town center of Falkenberg with
its well-preserved half-timbered buildings. Relax at
one of the quaint cafes, restaurants or bars set along
side the white sand beaches.
Gdansk
(Gdynia), Poland
A Baltic Sea port at the mouth of the River Vistula,
Gdansk was in its glory as Europe's premier grain port
during the 16th and 17th centuries. Modern Gdansk has
been splendid city where you'll visit the town hall,
the Krantor, the Market Square and Marien Church.
Geiranger,
Norway*
Bask in the majestic beauty of one of Norway's largest
fjords, Geirangerfjord. You will also see the beautiful
Seven Sisters waterfall, one of Norway's most beautiful
resorts.
Hamburg,
Germany*
Germany's largest and busiest port, Hamburg is noted
for its museums, musical tradition and wealth of historical
buildings. Founded by Charlemagne, who built a fortress
here in 808, Hamburg became the basis for the Hanseatic
League of merchant cities.
Neustadt,
Germany
Founded in 1244, Neustadt or "new town" is
an attractive port city where you can visit the famous
Kemper Gate and the colorful market square.
Oslo,
Norway*
Norway's capital, though modest in size is quite cosmopolitan
with rich diversity of restaurants, cafes and shopping.
Prominent landmarks include Parliament buildings, the
Holmenkollen Ski Jump and the Royal Palace.
Ronne,
Bornholm, Denmark
Known as the "pearl of Denmark," the island
is a popular Danish holiday destination with its white
powder sand beaches. Also an artists' colony of sorts,
Bornholm is famous for its weavers, potters and glass
blowers.
St
Petersburg, Russia*
The home of the Czars and one of Europe's most beautiful
cities, St. Petersburg is the urban equivalent of a
Faberge egg -- it is truly Russia's gem. It is a city
of palaces and regal residences. Don't miss the world-famous

Denmark
Enjoy a stroll through this romantic fishing port also
known as the capital of Denmark's "South Sea".
